5-46KV Shielded Power Cables
Application
UL/CSA shielded power cable (5kV to 46kV) for chemical plants, refineries, steel mills, utility substations, and generating stations. Suitable for open air, conduit, duct, direct burial in wet or dry locations.
Core Strengths
Shield degradation increases failure risk in 46kV systems. Our copper tape/wire shield ensures uniform voltage stress distribution. CE compliant. Factory direct.
Standard
IEC60502, SANS 1339, BS 6622, AS/NZS1429.1, NFC 33226, CSA C 68.3, ICEA S 93-639 , ICEA S 94-649
Construction
Conductor: Stranded copper (class 2)
Conductor screen: Semiconductive layer
Insulation: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene)
Insulation screen: Semiconductive layer
Copper tape screen: Helically applied copper tape
